Air Fryer Crispy Fried Chicken
📝 Ingredients
- 6 chicken pieces (drumsticks or thighs)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons milk
- Cooking oil spray
👩🍳 Instructions
- Pat the chicken dry and season lightly with salt and pepper.
- In one bowl, whisk the eggs with milk.
- In another bowl, mix flour, breadcrumbs, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each chicken piece into the egg mixture, then coat fully in the flour–breadcrumb mixture.
- Lightly spray each piece with oil to help it crisp.
- Preheat the air fryer to 190°C (375°F).
- Arrange the chicken pieces in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 22–28 minutes, flipping halfway through and spraying lightly again if needed.
- Remove when golden, crispy, and fully cooked.
