Apple Cake Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 medium apples (peeled, cored, and sliced)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt
  • Sliced almonds (for topping)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the milk and vanilla extractto the egg mixture, and mix well.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the flourbaking powder, and a pinch of salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until smooth.
  6. Fold in the sliced apples into the batter, and mix gently.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and sprinkle with sliced almonds on top.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the cake is golden and a toothpick comes out clean when inserted.
  9. Once baked, let it cool for a few minutes. Then, dust with powdered sugar before serving.
