Air Fryer Crispy Fried Chicken

📝 Ingredients

  • 6 chicken pieces (drumsticks or thighs)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • Cooking oil spray

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken dry and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  2. In one bowl, whisk the eggs with milk.
  3. In another bowl, mix flour, breadcrumbs, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Dip each chicken piece into the egg mixture, then coat fully in the flour–breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Lightly spray each piece with oil to help it crisp.
  6. Preheat the air fryer to 190°C (375°F).
  7. Arrange the chicken pieces in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  8. Cook for 22–28 minutes, flipping halfway through and spraying lightly again if needed.
  9. Remove when golden, crispy, and fully cooked.
