Crockpot Christmas Crack

Crockpot Christmas Crack (Slow Cooker Chocolate Peanut Clusters) This beloved holiday treat—also called Crockpot Candy—is a melt-in-your-mouth combo of chocolate, peanut butter, and roasted peanuts, all made right in your slow cooker! It’s perfect for gift giving or snacking all season long.

 Ingredients:

2 lbs (32 oz) roasted salted peanuts
4 oz German’s sweet chocolate (Baker’s brand or similar), chopped
1 (12 oz) bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 (10–12 oz) bag peanut butter chips
2 (10 oz) packages white almond bark or white candy coating, chopped

 Instructions:

Layer in the Crockpot:

Add the peanuts first (this helps prevent burning).
Then layer the German chocolate, chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, and white almond bark on top.
Do not stir yet.

Cook on LOW:

Cover and cook for 1 hour.
Then remove the lid and stir thoroughly.
Continue cooking another 30 minutes, stirring occasionally until smooth and fully melted.

Form Clusters:

Line your counter or baking sheets with wax paper or parchment paper.
Drop spoonfuls (about 1–2 tablespoons each) of the candy mixture onto the paper.
Let them set and harden completely (takes about 1 hour at room temperature or 20 minutes in the fridge).

Store:

Once hardened, store in airtight containers at room temperature for up to 2 weeks or refrigerate for up to a month.

Optional Add-Ins:

Crushed pretzels, mini marshmallows, or toffee bits
Sprinkle with holiday sprinkles before they harden for a festive touch
