Supreme Lasagna

Ultimate Supreme Lasagna with Layers of Meat, Cheese, and Rich Tomato Sauce

➡️Ingredients:

12 lasagna noodles

1 pound ground beef

½ pound Italian sausage

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 onion, finely chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce

1 (15 oz) can crushed tomatoes

1 teaspoon dried basil

1 teaspoon dried oregano

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

15 oz ricotta cheese

1 large egg

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and cook until softened.

Add garlic, ground beef, and Italian sausage. Cook until browned, breaking meat apart.

Stir in marinara sauce, crushed tomatoes, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.

In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese with egg and parsley until smooth.

Spread a thin layer of meat sauce in a baking dish. Layer noodles, ricotta mixture, meat sauce, mozzarella, and Parmesan.

Repeat layers, finishing with sauce and cheese on top.

Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes until bubbly and golden.

Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
