Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • Sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
  3. Stir in the diced onion, ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 2–3 more minutes until everything is well combined.
  4. Flatten each biscuit dough piece into a small circle.
  5. Spoon some of the beef mixture into the center of each dough circle. Top with shredded cheese.
  6. Fold the dough around the filling and pinch the edges tightly to seal, forming a ball.
  7. Place the filled dough balls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.
  9. Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  10. Serve warm with ketchup, burger sauce, or your favorite dipping sauce.

Tips

  • Add pickles, bacon bits, or jalapeños for extra flavor.
  • Use mozzarella or pepper jack cheese for a cheesy twist.
