Low Carb Honey Garlic Chicken 🍯🧄

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 lbs chicken tenders (or chicken breast strips)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce (low sodium)
  • 1/4 cup sugar-free honey (or keto honey substitute)
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)
  • Chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sugar-free honey, minced garlic, and black pepper.
  2. Add the chicken to the bowl and coat well. Let it marinate for at least 15–30 minutes.
  3. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook for 5–6 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through.
  4. Pour the remaining sauce into the pan and let it simmer for a few minutes.
  5. (Optional) Mix cornstarch with a little water and add it to the pan to thicken the sauce.
  6. Spoon the glossy sauce over the chicken and cook for 1–2 more minutes.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve hot.

Serving Suggestion: Serve with steamed broccoli or cauliflower rice for a perfect low carb meal 🥦
